ART ADVISORY
Maria Kraybill of The Artillerie partners with art galleries & dealers, provides artist management and art advisory services to art collectors
The ARTillerie is pleased to present in one gallery two exhibits that explore the contrasting aspects of the human condition: solitude and contemplation versus companionship and exhilaration.
Victoria Koursaros
"Divertire", 12" x 16", oil on wood, 2021
In her solo exhibition “Woodlands. Solitude”, Aissulu Kadyrzhanova presents a series of paintings that explore the human connection with nature. The paintings evoke the artist’s relationship with the natural environment, and especially trees, both in communication and observation. It is a relationship that can bring inspiration and mental comfort. The artist shows us that we can see trees as our kin, to build a more harmonious relationship with nature in the present moment and into the future. She paints from remembered landscapes, translating feelings of sensory fascination into vibrant visual language.
“Joie de Vivre” is a two-person exhibition featuring two artists, Asya Livshits and Victoria Koursaros. The artists take us to magical worlds, past and present, in which one can freely express various cheerful enjoyments of life: the joy of conversation, the joy of playing, the joy of dancing, and the joy of everything that makes life such a delightful journey.
